Its an interesting discussion at home, on interpretting the meaning of each stanza.
Not sure if this is pure hindustani, or Punjabi or even Rajasthani.
In case you know the whole meaning do let me know...
You can hear the song in dishant.com (search for the artist Fuzon).
You can buy the CD here
The whole song - (I am not sure if this is their original number or a remix)
Saawan Beeto Jaye Pe Harwa

Aeso Gaye Pardes Piya Tum

I think i am replying a bit too late, but I was doing some research on this song & came across your post. So if u already know sorry.
One of the most popular & all time favourite raags of Hindustani Classical music is 'Yaman' & this composition is the raag itself. I am presuming you will know Hindi since u r a 'sharma' so its just one of the dialects of hindi.I could be wrong at this point though but I think it is a thumri. There is this new song called Leja Leja by Shreya Ghosal & Ustad Sultan Khan, which you might enjoy as well.
@ Orange Whispers:
Correction. The song is not in Raag Yaman. Funnily, it is in Raag Khamaaj (after the title of the song) - but again not all the notes are conformed to pure Khamaaj Raag.
Also you're right. The original is a thumri done by Shafqat Amanat Ali's father - Ustad Amanat Ali Khan Saheb and is called "Mora Saiyaan Mo Se Bolay Na"
I think the language is 'Khadi Boli', a sort of hodge-podge of various dialects and in which many Hindustaani compositions are written. I can give you a loose rather than literal translation, or at least attempt to. Cannot even TRY to capture the beauty of how it's written, though.

'Saawan Beeto Jaye Pe Harwa' - The monsoon is passing by me, love
'Mann Mera Ghabraye' - My heart grows more afraid
'Aeso Gaye Pardes Piya Tum' - You have gone far, far away
'Cheyn Humein Nahin Aye' - I can never feel at ease without you
'Mora Saiyaan Moh Sey Bolay Na' - My love has not spoken to me
'Mein Laakh Jatan Kar Haari' - I tried a hundred thousand ways, but had to give up
'Tu Jo Nahin Toh Aisay Piya Hum' - If not for you, then, love, I am
'Jaisay Soona Aanganaa' - Like a desolate garden
'Nain Tehaari Rah Neeharey' - My eyes, searching the path (of your return), have become lost
'Nainnan Ko Tarsaona' - Do not trouble my eyes (further)
'Pyar Tumhain Kitna Kartay Hain' - Just how much I love you,
'Tum Yeh Samajh Nahin Pao gay' - This, you will never be able to understand
'Jab Hum Na Hongay To Peharwa' - When I am no longer here, love
'Bolo Kya Tab Aaogay' - Is it (only) then that you will return?

It's so poignant, I'm sure it will bring tears to your eyes!
I hope you love this song even more, now that you know it better.
